The Chairman of Kogi State Mineral Resources and Environmental Management Committee (MIREMCO), Hajjiya Hassiat Ozavize Suleiman has called on the people of Ihima and entire Kogi State to support the divine candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the forthcoming governorship election.

Hajjiya Hassiat made the call today in Ihima during ”Hajjiya Hassiat Grassroots Discourse for Ododo” where she charged all stakeholders to deepen their grassroots engagements and enlightenment for Alhaji Ododo Ahmed Usman (OAU) and Comrade Joel Oyibo Salifu (JOS) ahead of the November 11th governorship election.

While attesting to the philanthropic deeds of the APC candidate, the MIREMCO boss said he is a humane leader whose good hearts of giving has distinguished all through the period he served as Auditor-General for Kogi State Local Government.

“Alhaji Ododo Ahmed Usman has been groomed properly by Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello in the act of governance in contemporary society. Alhaji Ododo Ahmed Usman has been part of the New Direction Administration of Kogi State which has been scored very high in many indices of development by both national and global organizations.

“We will continue to appreciate the foresight of Kogi State political generalissimo, Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello who has never grown weary of putting Kogi State on the front burner of national politics by being detribalised in governance”, she said.

Hajjiya Hassiat who had earlier led her team to the palace of her Clan Head to pay homage and seek royal blessings for the joint ticket of Ododo/Oyibo, urged the people to obtain their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) and keep them intact in order to seal the impending victory of APC in the forthcoming governorship election.

While assuring the people of Ihima of more dividend of democracy in the government of Alhaji Ododo, Hajjiya Hassiat implored them to avoid voter aparthy in order for have APC to garner overwhelming votes that will be difficult to challenge by the opposition.

All the stakeholders present at the discourse eulogized the leadership charisma and qualities of Hajjiya Hassiat Ozavize Suleiman, just as they pledged to overwhelmingly mobilise for the victory of APC in the November 11th governorship election.

The programme was well attended by grassroot political bigwigs across party lines some of whom were the newly defected members of People’s Democratic Party (PDP) and Social Democratic Party (SDP).

Other political stakeholders present in the programme were Senior Special Assistant to Governor Yahaya Bello on Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Hon. Itopa Akpoti, Councilor for Obeiba Ward I, Hon. Ahmed Bashir, Alh Siyaka( Dotanegwu), Azeez Garba and a host of others.
