Kogi NAWOJ salute Gov. Ododo for Women inclusion in Governance

Kogi State Chapter of the Nigeria Association of Women Journalists, NAWOJ, has felicitated with women appointees in the cabinet of the Governor. Ahmed Usman Ododo

A statement by the Chairperson of the Association in Lokoja, Comrade Stella Edoka said the present administration has given women a pride of place in the governance of the State.

According to the statement, women in the State continue to occupy sensitive positions of authority and excel in performance at their various offices.

“NAWOJ congratulates the Secretary to the State Government, Dr, Folashade Ayoade Arike, the Deputy Speaker of the State House Of Assembly, Rt, Hon Comfort Ojoma Nwochiola, the State Accountant General, Dr. Habiba Onumok, and the Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Development, Hajia Fatima Momoh as well as the Caretaker Chairman of Ogori/Magongo Local Government Area, Rosemary Ohiezu.

The Association while expressing appreciation to Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo for giving women voices in his administration prayed for wisdom for all the appointees to succeed in their respective offices.
