Kogi NUJ Chairman Receives Comr. Ben Jerry, NYCN National Chairmanship Aspirant.

… Says Kogi, blessed with useful Youths

… As Comr Jerry says aspiration, borne out of need to offer purposeful leadership.

The Kogi State Chairman, Nigeria Union of Journalists, Comr. Ademu Saidu has described the State as one blessed with useful Youths who can hold their own anywhere in Leadership position.

This is as Comr. Ben Jerry, National Chairmanship Aspirant in the forthcoming National Election of the NYCN scheduled for September says his aspiration is borne out of the need to offer purposeful leadership that will reposition NYCN and the youths of Nigeria for effective service delivery as leaders of tomorrow.

The NUJ Chairman who made the disclosure when he received in audience, State Chairman of Kogi State National Youth Council and National Chairmanship Aspirant in the forthcoming NYCN National election.

Comr. Ademu urged the Youths of Nigeria to rally behind Comr. Jerry, disclosing that his few years of leadership at the State Council, saw to the repositioning of the character and behavior of youths in the State.

The State Chairman lauded the administration of Gov Usman Ahmed Ododo for creating an enabling environment for Youths of the State to occupy political and position in governance, said the country must begin to engage youths meaningfully like is done in the State.

The NUJ Chairman urged Comr. Ben Jerry to be a good ambassador of the State before, during his campaign, said he should strive to make the State proud and wished him well in his aspiration.

Speaking, Comr. Ben Jerry disclosed that aside infrastructure development, empowering youths of the State during his leadership, he was for the first time able to ensure a N250m as budgetary allocation for the Council in the State.

He solicited the support of the NUJ in helping him to propagate his vision and mission for youths of the country, maintaining that he has a holistic blueprint that will help in repositioning youths to be self reliant and be responsible.
