Kogi NUJ Honors Sen. Karimi with Effective Legislator Award

The Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Kogi State chapter, has honored Senator Sunday Karimi, representing Kogi West Senatorial District at the National Assembly, with an Outstanding Legislator Award.
The award ceremony was held yesterday at the grand finale of the NUJ Press Week in Lokoja.
Sen. Karimi was represented by Hon. Idris Lokoja, expressed gratitude for the recognition, describing it as a testament to his hard work and dedication.
He noted that the award was not just a recognition of past achievements but also a responsibility to do more for the people of Kogi West.
Senator Karimi highlighted his achievements in education, infrastructure, and empowerment, pledging to continue working tirelessly to promote the welfare of his constituents.
The Senator commended the NUJ for their role in promoting good governance and accountability, expressing gratitude to the people of Kogi West for the opportunity to serve.
NUJ State Chairman, Alhaji Ademu Seidu Haruna, said the award was based on Sen. Karimi’s track record of achievements, urging him to see it as a call to greater service.
Haruna pledged that the Union would continue to recognize excellence in service delivery.
