KOGI PDP YOUTH LEADER COMMENDS BARR. WIKE’S EXCEPTIONAL PERFORMANCES AS FCT MINISTER.
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Youth Wing of Kogi State wholeheartedly commends the outstanding efforts and remarkable achievements of His Excellency, Hon. Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), since assuming office.
Hon. Wike, popularly known as “Mr. Project,” has demonstrated an unparalleled commitment to transforming the FCT’s infrastructure landscape within an impressively short period.
It is no doubt the president’s excitement during the commissioning of the Abuja Rail, while acknowledging the Hon Minister’s tireless effort said and i quote “Your Resilience, Patience and unwavering support have been instrumental in making this possible”. Mr Present said projects and results are not realized by chance. They come through thoughtful planning and execution. Mr President concluded by saying how proud he feels about the Hon Minister’s efforts in Job delivery.
Under Hon. Wike’s visionary leadership, the FCT has witnessed an unprecedented surge in infrastructural development, significantly enhancing the lives and livelihoods of residents.

Hon. Wike’s administration has prioritized the construction and rehabilitation of roads across the FCT, facilitating smoother transportation and connectivity for citizens.
Over 135 kilometers of roads have been constructed or rehabilitated, easing traffic congestion and improving accessibility to various areas within the territory.
Recognizing the importance of urban aesthetics and functionality, Hon. Wike has spearheaded ambitious urban renewal projects, revitalized public spaces and enhanced the overall ambiance of the FCT. Parks, gardens, and recreational facilities have been developed to promote leisure and social interaction among residents.
In line with the government’s commitment to affordable housing, Hon. Wike has championed initiatives to address the housing deficit in the FCT. Through strategic partnerships and innovative policies, ten thousand housing units will be constructed (Renewed Hope Housing Units in the FCT), providing decent and affordable accommodation options for low and middle-income earners.
Hon. Wike’s administration has placed a strong emphasis on improving social amenities such as healthcare facilities, schools, and public utilities. Investments in healthcare infrastructure have enhanced access to quality medical services, while the expansion of educational facilities has bolstered the educational sector, ensuring that every child has access to quality education.
