KOGI POLICE COMMAND MOURNS PASSING OF ACP ANSELM ALI, HEAD OF OPERATIONS

LOKOJA— The Kogi State Police Command has announced the sudden and painful passing of ACP Anselm Ali, the Assistant Commissioner of Police in charge of Operations, Kogi State Command.
In a statement released on Thursday, the Command described the death of the senior officer as “a great loss to the Command, the Nigeria Police Force, and all who had the privilege of working with him.”
The Command paid tribute to ACP Ali, describing him as a dedicated officer whose service and commitment to duty will not be forgotten.
“His sudden demise is a great loss to the Command, the Nigeria Police Force, and all who had the privilege of working with him. We mourn a dedicated officer whose service and commitment to duty will not be forgotten,” the statement read.
On behalf of the Command, the Commissioner of Police extended heartfelt condolences to the family, colleagues, friends, and loved ones of the deceased.
The statement further prayed: “May Almighty God grant his soul eternal rest and give the bereaved family the strength to bear this irreparable loss. May his gentle soul rest in perfect peace. Amen.”
ACP Ali served as the head of operations for the Kogi State Command and was regarded by colleagues as a diligent and committed officer.
Details of his burial arrangements are expected to be announced by the family in due course.
