KOGI POLY ANNOUNCES OCTOBER 16, 2023 AS RESUMPTION DATE FOR 2023/2024 ACADEMIC SESSION

The Academic Board of Kogi State Polytechnic, Lokoja has approved Monday, 16th October, 2023, as resumption date for the 2023/2024 academic session.

This was part of resolutions at the 109th emergency meeting of the Polytechnic’s academic Board held on Wednesday, 11th October, 2023, at the 200 Twin Lecture Theatre, Main Campus.

The meeting, presided by its Chairman, Dr. Salisu Ogbo Usman approved 16th October, 2023, as resumption date for new students while 23rd of October, 2023 was approved for returning students.

The Rector informed members that the Central Admission Committee (CAC) met recently and considered admission into various programmes, adding that list of successful candidates would be released before the resumption date.

Dr. Usman commended members of the Board for their immense support and cooperation in raising the academic standard of the institution, even as he charged them to redouble efforts in improving on and sustaining the successes achieved.

He charged members to work assiduously to ensure that the second semester result for the 2022/2023 academic session is released before students resume.

He also reiterated the Polytechnic’s commitment to creating a conducive teaching and learning environment for staff and students and re-emphasised the need for all to be law abiding.
