KOGI POLY ANNOUNCES RESUMPTION DATE FOR 2025/2026 ACADEMIC SESSION

The Academic Board of Kogi State Polytechnic, Lokoja at its emergency meeting on Thursday, 4th September, 2025, approved the Academic Calendar for the 2025/2026 Academic Session.

2025-2026 Academic Calendar – 3rd Sept

The approved Academic Calendar as released by the office of the Director, Academic Planning indicates that the resumption date for the new academic session for new and returning students (except those on SIWES) is Monday, 15th September, 2025 while those on SIWES will resume on Monday, 8th December, 2025.

Registration commences on 15th September, 2025 and will run till 10th October, 2025, while late registration which attracts a penalty fee of five thousand naira (₦5,000) will run between 13th and 17th October, 2025.

In addition, orientation and matriculation for new students will be held between 27th and 29th October, 2025.

The Rector, on behalf of the Management and Academic Board, seized the opportunity to wish the students safe trip back to the campus.
