On behalf of the Governing Council, Academic Board, Management, staff, and students of Kogi State Polytechnic, Lokoja, I write with profound delight to felicitate with the Vice-Chancellor, Federal University Lokoja, Professor Olayemi Durotimi Akinwunmi, on the auspicious occasion of his 62nd birthday.

It is with immense pride and deep admiration that I identify with and celebrate you at 62. This celebration is not merely for the graceful passage of time, but for the enduring legacy of impactful scholarship, exemplary leadership, humility, unassuming disposition and indelible accomplishments that define your illustrious journey.

Beyond the milestones of age, permit me to once again place on record my profound gratitude and heartfelt appreciation for your exceptional leadership and unwavering institutional support, particularly as shown during the 37th Inaugural Lecture, which was successfully held under your result-oriented administration.

Worthy of special commendation is the robust institutional partnership and Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) entered into between the Federal University Lokoja and Kogi State Polytechnic, Lokoja, under your watch. This collaborative framework stands as a testament to your belief in inter-institutional synergy, capacity building, shared academic resources and the advancement of teaching, research and innovation.

As you advance into this phase of life, I am confident that you will continue to render quality, selfless, and indelible service to the Nigerian society at large. Indeed, posterity will rightly mark you as an altruistic leader, a shining star among your peers and an invaluable reference for generations of scholars.

It is our sincere prayer that God, in His infinite mercy, grant you good health, long life, renewed strength and greater wisdom for the continued benefit of humanity as a whole.

Once again, from all of us at the Kogi State Polytechnic, Lokoja, happy 62nd birthday, Sir, and many more fruitful years of impact and service ahead.

Signed:
Professor Salisu Ogbo Usman, PhD, FCIA, FABEN, FCIEEE
