Kogi SA on SEMA condemns killing of 100 level FUL Student

The Special Adviser to Kogi State Governor on State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA) Dr.Musa Sandra has condemned the brutal killing of Damilola Olowoyo a 17-year-old 100 level student at the Federal University Lokoja,Kogi State.

In a statement signed by Dr Sandra on Sunday, She described the killing of Damilola Olowoyo as barbaric, satanic and unacceptable in a modern world.

Dr Sandra who is very passionate about the girl child, commended security agencies for quickly swinging into action that led to the arrest of the prime suspect Jeremiah Paul and three others who were allegedly involved in the death of Damilola Orowoyo, a 100 level student in the department Biological Science,Federal University Lokoja, Kogi State.

“This devilish act by Jeremiah Paul and his cohort is highly condemnable and unacceptable in a modern world”.

She further pleaded with the Nigeria Police and other security agencies to look into the activities of some youths in LoKoja and other Local Government of the State,as this kind of case of “getting rich at the expense of other people’s lives is on the increase.

“They keep flaunting exorbitant life style without knowing the source of their money. Some Youths will stay in a hotel for up to six months to one year. How did they get such money they’re spend? Also,some landlords prefer giving their houses to fraudsters without considering their sources of income. Imagine a young boy or Girl driving expensive car.

“Parents should wake up to their responsibilities ask their children and wards questions when they notice them living above what they can afford for them.

“The law will surely catch up with any individual who intends to disturb the peace of our dare State”she stated.

Dr Musa,Commended Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo for safeguarding the lives and properties of Kogi State adding that,his achievement in the last eight months is unprecedented.
