KOGI SECURITY ADVISER JOINED GOV. ODODO ON A THANK YOU VISIT TO THE NATIONAL SECURITY ADVISER
Yesterday 4th June, 2024, the State Security Adviser to Kogi State Government, Commander Duro Jerry Omodara (Rtd), was among the delegation of Kogi state government ably led by Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, on a courtesy and thank you visit to Mallam Nuhu Ribadu, the National Security Adviser.
The delegation of the state government was in the office of the National Security Adviser to show appreciation for his support and commitment towards the rescuing of kidnapped CUSTECH students.
The governor noted during the visit that the intervention of the Federal Government in a joint force with Kogi State security agencies aided the return of the remaining CUSTECH students from the den of their abductors.
Gov. Ododo said that his government is looking forward in furtherance of a partnership with the office of the National Security Adviser, maintaining that he will do everything humanly possible to stamp out insecurity in Kogi State.
He equally noted that the swift intervention of the Kwara State Government also led to the rescue of the remaining kidnapped students, noting that the timely actions of the Governor have also reinforced the Kogi/Kwara cooperation and unity of purpose.
Others present during the visit were Alhaji Ali Bello – Chief of Staff to the Governor, Hon. Abdullahi Bello – Kogi State APC Chairman, Hon. (Barr) Abdulsalami Deedat Ozigi – Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs.
