KOGI SECURITY ADVISER RECEIVES IN AUDIENCE, DELEGATION OF YOUTHS ASSOCIATION FROM OKE-OFFIN
….reassures his continuous support for the youths of the community
Earlier on Wednesday, a national and local delegation of the Oke-Offin Youth Association paid a visit to the State Security Adviser, Retired Commander Duro Jerry Omodara to congratulate him on his reappointment by His Excellency, Alhaji Ododo Ahmed Usman.
The team which was led by Mr Matthew Olusegun Lawal also acknowledged and appreciates some of Commander Omodara’s recent efforts in ensuring that Oke-Offin community compete developmentally with other neighboring communities.
Recall that Hon. Jerry Omodara sometimes last year donated about five plots of land to the Association for the construction of a Community Recreational Centre within Oke-Offin township, the leader of the team made it known that work will soon commence on the site in no distance time while appreciate the gesture of Commander Omodara towards the project so far.
Also in the team, Mr Aiyetan Oluwasegun in his own remarks, poured encomium on the personality and leadership charisma of the State Security Adviser. He described him as a silent achiever who is though bold, but yet objective and reserved.
Commander Omodara in his separate remarks, expressed his heartfelt appreciation for the visit. He highlighted some of the positive effects of the new Government under the amiable leadership of His Excellency, Alhaji Ododo Ahmed Usman, the Executive Governor of Kogi State to the good people of Bunuland and Okun Nation by extension. He equally made bold to say that more developmental effects shall be felt by Oke-Offin people in the new Government.
The security expert finally admonished the team to continue to sue for the peace at all time, as it under such atmosphere that more and greater developments can strive.
