Kogi Speaker Expresses Sadness Over the Sudden Demise of Hon Joseph Dada, former Executive Chairman, Kabba/Bunu LGA.
Speaker of the Kogi State House of Assembly and Candidate of the ruling All Progressive Congress for Kabba/Bunu/Ijumu Federal Constituency in the February 25th Presidential and National Assembly Elections, Rt. Hon. Kolawole Olushola Matthew, has expressed sadness over the sudden demise of the former Executive Chairman of Kabba/Bunu Local Government Area between 2004 and 2007, and Special Adviser to Governor Ibrahim Idris aka Ibro between 2008 and 2011, Hon. Joseph Dada whose death occurred yesterday at aged 69
The Speaker said it is devastating to lose such a dependable, trustworthy and straight forward veteran politician whose political experience spanned over 4 decades described his death as a monumental loss to the political class in Kabba (Owe), Okun nation and Kogi State in general.
The Speaker said words failed him to describe Hon Joseph Dada in the real sense of it, stressing that he will ever remain indebted to him for his modest role in his political sojourn and election victory in 2015 as a member of the Kogi State House of Assembly, an opportunity that led him to his present political status in Nigeria.
It is on this note that Rt. Hon. Kolawole O. Matthew, on behalf of his family, the people of Kabba/Bunu State Constituency, members, management and staff of the State Assembly wish to commiserate with his immediate family, PDP Kabba/Bunu, Kabba community traditional institution over the sudden death of our beloved brother, father, grandfather, political and community leader, Hon Joseph Dada, prayed that God will grant him eternal rest.
He is survive by his aged mother, wives, children and grandchildren
