KOGI STATE POLYTECHNIC, LOKOJA POST UTME SCREENING REGISTRATION FOR NEW PROGRAMMES FOR THE 2023/2024 ACADEMIC SESSION

 

This is to inform all candidates that the following programmes have been introduced in Kogi State Polytechnic, Lokoja and registration for the 2023/2024 Post UTME screening is now open for the following courses: –

1. SCHOOL OF ENGINEERING TECHNOLOGY

National Diploma in:

 

ND Agricultural & Bio-Environmental Engineering Technology

 

ND Horticultural Technology

 

ND Mechatronic Engineering Technology

 

ND Computer Engineering Technology

 

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

 

ND Agricultural & Bio-Environmental Engineering Technology

 

Candidates must obtain the minimum score of 100 in the 2023 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and must have Five credit level passes in GCE “O” level or Senior Secondary School Certificate (SSCE) at not more than two sittings. The five subjects must include Mathematics, English Language, Physics, Biology/Agricultural Science or Chemistry and any other subject.

 

b. ND Horticultural Technology

 

Candidates must obtain the minimum score of 100 in the 2023 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and must have Five credit level passes in GCE “O” level or Senior Secondary School Certificate (SSCE) at not more than two sittings. The five subjects must include Mathematics, English Language, Physics, Biology/Agricultural Science or Chemistry and any other subject.

 

c. ND Mechatronic Engineering Technology

 

Candidates must obtain the minimum score of 100 in the 2023 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and must have five (5) passes at credit level in Mathematics, English Language, Physics, Chemistry, and a science subject (i.e., Biology, Agricultural Science, Metal Work, Auto-mechanics, Basic Electronics, Basic Electricity, Technical Drawing)

 

d. ND Computer Engineering Technology

 

Candidates must obtain the minimum score of 100 in the 2023 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and must have five credit passes at not more than two sittings. The relevant subjects are: English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and one other subject from: Metal Work, Woodwork, Technical Drawing, Basic Electronics, Basic Electricity, Economics, Commerce, Statistics, Further Mathematics, Computer Studies, Geography and Biology or Agricultural Science.

 

METHOD OF APPLICATION

 

Eligible candidates should visit our website at https://portal.kogistatepolytechnic.edu.ng after completing the payment of a non-refundable registration fee of Two Thousand Naira (N2,000.00), applicants will gain access to the online application forms. Instructions on how to make the payment and fill out the Post UTME form can be found on the website.

 

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

 

We strongly advise all candidates to accurately upload their O’level results on both the JAMB and the school portal.

 

Please ensure that you provide a functional Phone Number and Email address during registration, as all communication regarding the screening process will be sent via SMS or email, using the contact details provided.
