Kogi Train Derailment: Police Commissioner, CP Naziru Bello Assesses Situation, Deploys Security
The Commissioner of Police in Kogi State, CP Naziru Bello Kankarofi, has visited the site of the train derailment in Adogo to assess the situation and oversee rescue efforts.
During his visit, he met with officials of the Nigerian Railway Corporation (NRC) and stranded passengers.

According to a statement by the Police Public Relations Officer, CSP William Ovye Aya, the Commissioner deployed security personnel to safeguard people and facilities at the scene and oversaw the evacuation of all passengers to Ajaokuta station.
Additional security measures were also put in place to secure the derailed coaches.
The Commissioner reaffirmed the police force’s commitment to safeguarding lives and property, working in synergy with other security agencies in the state.
The police efforts aim to ensure the safety of everyone affected by the incident.
