Kogi Works commissioner meets Varsity VC on quick project execution

…….. says Governor Bello is a gift to humanity.

By Abah Benjamin Eneojoh

Kogi state Commissioner for Works and Housing, Hon. Samson Bako recently in a visit to the site of the ongoing projects at the Confluence University of Science and Technology Osara, describe Governor Yahaya Adoza Bello as a gift to humanity following the magnitude of the projects inspected.

Bako while addressing the Management of CUSTECH on the need to synergise for quick project execution noted that, he was at CUSTECH to supervise the multi-billion naira projects of His Excellency Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello and to collaborate with the Management of the University to monitor contractors handling the projects in order to expedite action for quick project completion.

The Commissioner who was not impressed with the level of project performance charged contractors to complement the effort of the State Government and work for the value of money received.

The Vice Chancellor Engr. Prof. Salwu Sadiku while responding, thanked His Excellency and the Ministry of works and Housing for giving prompt attention to the University.

The VC who added that, at inception, the pace of work was quite encouraging also revealed that in the last couple of weeks the job was slowed down.

Hon. Bako finally thank God for giving Kogi State the kind of His Excellency, Alh.Dr. Yahaya Adoza Bello who is passionate about education and the infrastructural development of the State.
