Kogi@33: “Kogi Is Matured For Unprecedented Development, Thanks To Gov. Bello For Giving Us Gov. Ododo” – Oba Ibeun.

The Chairman Mopamuro Traditional Council and Elulu of Mopa, His Royal Majesty, Oba (Dr.) Muyiwa Ibeun has felicitated with the people of Kogi State, the Governor Usman Ododo led government and Kogi State Traditional Council on the celebration of 33 years since the creation of Kogi State.

He also appreciates the immediate past Governor of Kogi State, His Excellency, Yahaya Bello for giving the people of Kogi State a worthy personality like Governor Usman Ododo to succeed him, saying the achievements of their administration has enabled Kogi State to take off for unprecedented development.

Oba Ibeun said a child of 33 years is fully matured, as such, should be independent and be able to make a living for him/herself and also be responsible to surrounding environment.

He appreciated the effort of stakeholders in the development of Kogi State so far, especially at different quarters of public and political offices. He said while much has been done, lot’s more still needs to be done.

The monarch specially appreciates Governor Usman Ododo for displaying political willingness and action for the human and infrastructural development of Kogi State, and also for following the foresight of his predecessor, Gov. Yahaya Bello.

He said at 33 years of creation, Kogi State is fully matured and has taken off for unprecedented development, he call on all elites of Kogi State to shun petty politics and sentiments, that they should all rally round the government with their experiences, influences and connections and other resources for the interest of Kogi people.

He also called on the generallity of Kogites of to continue support the and be part of the government by appreciating them and fully involved in the different empowerment and support programs.
