The people of Enjema Community in Ankpa Local Government Area has endorsed the Governorship Candidate of the ruling All Progressive Congress, (APC) Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo in the November 11th Governorship election in Kogi State.

They made their position known on Thursday 17th August 2023 when the Director General, Kogi State Special Task Force on Illegal smuggling of fire arms and other related crime Elder Friday Sani Makama paid the community for on the spot assessment of security situation in the area, particularly as it affects alleged invasion of their community land which in recent time has led to the death of a young Man.

According to them, the present administration has performed well, hence the need to support the APC Governorship candidate to continue the good work of Governor Yahaya Bello.

Addressing the crown, Elder Makama described the Governor as a Man who has shown uncommon love for Igala Nation and deserves the support of Igala race.

The former Assembly lawmaker who described his visit as timely averred that, Governor Yahaya Bello is a true Kogites who has respected all segment of Kogi State particularly the Igala people adding that, no wonder, his unrepentant stand is Kogi agenda.

He charged the people to vote for the ruling All Progressive Congress in the next Governorship election adding that, those fanning the embers of ethnics politics are enemies of their race.

” The people are really happy with the present administration because the Government has allowed them to tap what actually belong to them. That is why we are not surprise with the warm reception we are receiving now.

” Am appealing to all of you to always remain calm, vote APC and support continuity. Any individual telling you all to do ethnic politics does not mean well for our dear State. We should all support a candidate who will deliver true dividend of democracy. That candidate is Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo of APC” he stated.
