KSU Kabba: KDU Pens Worded Appreciations to Gov Bello

Kabba Development Union, (KDU) has penned a strong worded appreciation letter to the National Award winner Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Yahaya Bello for the approval of the siting of the newly established Kogi State University in the ancient city of Kabba, headquarters of Kogi West Senatorial District and Okunland, a gesture they will never take lightly.
The letter which copy was glimpsed by DemocracyNewsonline was signed by its President – General, an accomplished Petro chemical Engineer, Emmanuel Ajibero.
According to the letter, the people of Kabba and indeed Okunland are full of excitements in receiving the good news of the approval of the establishment of the Kogi State University and to be sited in Kabba by the State Executive Council under the chairmanship of the Executive Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Yahaya Bello, CON.
He said this is not the first time Governor Bello is rewriting the history of Kabba and Okunland in general in term of long lasting infrastructural developments that have impacted positively on the lives and livelihoods of the people in the area as such ,he has yet broken another records of bringing to the realization the long aged desires of the people of having a University within their territory.
He noted with nostalgia his good intention to leave an indelible marks, stressing that he has written his name in gold with this singular act that will be forever remembered by the highly educated people of Okunland.
He also used the opportunity to appreciate the Honourable Commissioner for Education, Science and Technology, Hon. Wemi Jones, Chairman of the Technical Committee, an erudite scholar, Professor Olu Obafemi and other members of the committee, members of the State Executive who have contributed in no small measure to the realization of this lofty projects, prayed that God shall continue to bless them richly.
He promised that the people that they shall continue to support, cooperate and work with his administration to bring more dividends of democracy to the area
