KSU Kabba To Matriculates 1,200 Students, to start A level and Remedia Programs immediately –Says VC Kogi State University

The Vice Chancellor of Kogi State University Kabba, Professor Kehinde Eniola has disclosed that the university will be matriculating first set of 1,200 students on Tuesday.
The VC who declared this on Monday during the maiden matriculation press conference held at the University campus in Kabba, stressing that more candidate are still applying for various courses in the institution but will not exceed the target approved by the NUC.
The Vice Chancellor of the newly established Kogi State University said that he is working very hard with his management team to make the ivory tower the best in academic excellence in Nigeria and beyond.
He said that the institution is determined from the beginning to raise students that would be nationally and globally recognize, in their various fields of study, pointed out that the institution will be digital base.
According to the VC, the management is working with some partners to provide an affordable accommodation for the students, assuring that their security on campus is of utmost concern to the University authority.
He commended Governor Yahaya Bello for putting every necessary requirements in place to ensure the smooth take off of the institution.
The VC added that 25 academic programmes has been approved by the National University Commission, (NUC), adding that the IJMB and Remedia Programs will Commence immediately to create apportunity for those who do no meet the entry requirements of the University of 160 cut off marks.
He advised the students to take their studies, seriously as the University intends to be different in their approach to both academic and student discipline on campus.
