KSU Kabba Vice-Chancellor Felicitates Emeritus Professor Olu Obafemi on Birthday

The Vice-Chancellor of Kogi State University, Kabba, Professor K.I.T. Eniola fNSM FRA AEC, has extended warm birthday felicitations to renowned literary scholar and academic icon, Emeritus Professor Olu Obafemi, on the occasion of his 76th birthday.

Professor Eniola described Baba Obafemi as a towering figure in Nigerian literature and scholarship, whose contributions to drama, literary criticism, and cultural studies have significantly shaped academic discourse and inspired generations of scholars.

He commended the celebrant’s enduring commitment to scholarship, mentorship, and national development, noting that his legacy remains a testament to excellence, intellectual depth, and service to humanity.

Professor Eniola noted that the literary giant invested his time, name, experience, and commitment as Chairman of the implementation committee for the establishment of Kogi State University, Kabba where the new generation of leaders are being raised with similar commitment that birthed the institution, for which, baba Obafemi would be proud.

The Vice-Chancellor prayed for continued good health, longevity, and greater accomplishments for the distinguished scholar in the years ahead.
