Kwara Gov greets Veteran Journalists Tunde Akanbi at 64

Emmanuel kehinde,Ilorin

Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has congratulated veteran journalist and broadcaster Alhaji Mohammed Tunde Akanbi on his 64th birthday, calling him a respected community leader, media activist, and a fine gentleman who enjoys the confidence of many stakeholders.

In a statement on Friday, the Governor said the veteran broadcaster has remained a source of positive inspiration for young professionals, especially those in the dynamic media industry where he has been a charismatic leader and mentor for years.

The statement reads: “His Excellency joins family, friends and media fraternity to celebrate Alhaji Mohammed Tunde Akanbi on this joyous occasion. Alhaji Tunde Akanbi has paid his dues as a media professional and personality. He is passionate about the growth of the industry as well as his community, Ilorin, and this reflects in his carriage, even at retirement. It is not surprising therefore that he now leads the Kwara State chapter of the National League of Veteran Journalists (NALVEJ).

“The Governor prays to God to grant Alhaji Tunde Akanbi long life, abundant provisions, and good health as he continues to serve the community in different capacities.”
