The Senator representing Kogi Central in the National Assembly, Senator Ohere Abubakar has reassured the people of Ganaja community of adequate representation and patronage through major constituency projects ranging from roads infrastructure, erosion problems, health and education
Sen. Ohere said this when he received delegation from the community led by Alh Haruna Ganaja, assured that the people of Ganaja and Kogi Central Senatorial District will get all that is due to them during his representation.
The Senator assured the community that not one out of the pledges of His Excellency Alh Yahaya Bello will be left undone, assured that his representation will witness an unprecedented achievements, solicited the support of the people of Ganaja Community.
Sen. Ohere said so far the media cry including motions from the Senate particularly that of the building collapse in the country and mitigating measures that are proffered with respect to the revamping of the Steel industries particularly Ajaokuta Steel Company has attracted the attention of Mr President and a new Ministry, said specifically the cry has led to the creation of the Steel Development Ministry.
The Senator therefore use the opportunity to thank President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR and the Senate President Godswill Akpabio for this breakthrough, assured that Ajaokuta Steel Company would work now.
Sen. Ohere assured the Ganaja team that both the Roads and erosion problems around Ganaja communities are receiving the best budgetary attention now as His Excellency Gov Yahaya Bello CON is expectedly leading the process well, urged them to show the needed support as it is important for all hands to be on deck and work collectively.
In his response, the delegation leader Alhaji Haruna Ganaja congratulated the Senator on his success at the Senate so far, recalled also his numerous achievements while in the State workforce, described Sen. Ohere as a man who anything put in his hands work.
Alhaji Haruna recalled with nostalgia how Sen. Ohere as Commissioner provided Computers at the WAEC Centre in Emiworo, transformer to the Community, that provided light at Gidan Doya Community, said that effort and many other gestures too numerous to mention to the Community endeared him to the Ganaja Community.
