Leke Abejide: Hon. Bakabe Urges Yagba To Support Their Own

A stakeholder and mobilizer of the Leke Abejide project from Lokoja, Hon. Farouq Bakabe has urged the people of Yagba Federal Constituency and Okun Land to support Elder Leke Abejide.
Bakabe described Rep. Abejide as a political product that is developmental oriented in nature and will always need the support of his people not only for his political success but for their overall development and that of the community.
Bakabe, the Secretary of the Team Rt. Hon. Leke Abejide Lokoja said this on Thursday in Lokoja during a programme where the Lokoja supporters of Rep. Leke Abejide converged to beckon on him to decamp to the All Progressives Congress (APC) to contest for 3rd Term to represent Yagba Federal Constituency (YFC) in the House of Representatives.

Recall that various groups have respectively called Rep. Abejide to either decamp to the APC, contest for 3rd term House of Representatives or Senate.Lokoja supporters of Rep. Leke Abejide has joined the call inviting Elder Leke Abejide to the All Progressives Congress (APC) and to contest for 3rd term to represent Yagba Federal Constituency (YFC).The Chairman of the group, High Chief Lukman Usman, during his introductory speech, said Rep. Abejide is not a stranger, and it is important for his Lokoja supporters to join their voice to recognise what he has been doing for the people and to encourge him to join the APC offcially so that he can do more.
He added that Rep. Abejide has been part of the success story of the APC as a founding member, and due to his support for the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Usman Ahmed Ododo respectively, his people are calling him to officially join the APC, a family which he is part of.
Comr. Wale Ajongolo, the Coordinator of the group, during his address, appreciated everyone for coming and urged them to keep evangelising the gospel of Leke Abejide as it is a project beyond Yagba Federal Constituency.
Hon. Julius Abel-Ontop urged the people of Yagba to join people of other Federal Constituencies and comminuties across Kogi to support their. He asked them not to leave the support of their son to others.
All speakers, speaking onbehalf of the women, youths, and other communities within Lokoja, respectively; Mrs. Olubukola Ojuekaiye, Comr. Adewale Abdulrasheed Abdulkadir, Hon. Esther Yusuf, Hon. Mercy Abalaka and representative of Unity Network unanimously plead with the people of Yagba to support the performing House of Representatives Member, Leke Abejide, who sincerely serves the interest ot the Yagba people.
They said Leke Abejide as a political figure is beyond Yagba Federal Constituency, and that he cannot be limited, and that he his the only National Assembly member who has extended the hands of welfare and empower beyond his immediate constituency.
They recounted his achievements in youth and women support programmes, education empowerment, and infrastructural development, amongst others.
The support group also appreciated Rep. Abejide’s support for Governor Usman Ahmed Ododo and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu emphasized that that’s enough reason for him to join the ruling APC.
