His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Yahaya Bello has demonstrated the spirit of love, fairness, equity, and justice by signing into law a bill establishing the Kogi State University, Kabba, and the submission of the MoU to the NUC for approval.
Your Excellency, Governor Bello you equally demonstrated your love again for sound education by relocating the existing College of Education Technical, Kabba to Mopa in Yagba Federal Constituency.
Your thoughts and actions have balanced the equation in the educational sector in the state.
This marks the fulfillment of the generational ambition of the Okun people and Kogi West in general, thereby bringing our educational dreams to reality.
Under your leadership, all the tertiary institutions have not experienced a strike or any disruption for the past seven years which confirms that excellence is not a skill, or nomenclature but an attitude and performance.
