LG Polls: APC Chieftain, Sen. Ado Shuaibu, Confident of Party’s Victory in Kogi LGA

Senator Ado Shuaibu, a Chieftain of All Progressives Congress (APC) and member of the Apex Advisory Committee of the Campaign Council for Kogi Local Government, has expressed confidence in the party’s imminent victory in the forthcoming Local Government elections.

The former senator made the disclosure on Saturday in an exclusive interview with Electronic and New Media Campaign Committee.

The APC chieftain who noted that the party has done well in the State in the last eight (8) years explained that Kogi State has witnessed unprecedented development under the previous and current administration.

In his words, “There is no opposition party in Kogi LGA. The only party that is visible and working in line with the wishes of Kogites is APC. Under the APC government in Kogi State, things has changed for the good especially in the area of human capital development.”

Sen. Shuaibu commended the immediate past Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello and his predecessor, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, for their remarkable achievements in Kogi State and expressed optimism that the APC will sweep the forthcoming Local Government elections, citing the party’s impressive track record.

He Praised the exceptional leadership of Engr. Abubakar Bashir Gegu, who has successfully bridged the gap at the grassroots level and reaffirmed his commitment and support to the party leadership, while urging the people of Kogi LGA to vote for the APC Chairmanship Candidate, Hon. Abdulmalik Musa, Adam Yusuf Rabiyat, and the 11 ward councillors in the upcoming council elections.
