LG Polls: Bashir Gegu commend Ododo’s Administration, says APC will win massively
The Commissioner for Solid Minerals and Natural Resources of Kogi State, Engr Abubakar Bashir Gegu has again assured supporters that the All Progressives Congress, APC, will win the October 19th Council election with a wide margin on the back of the achievements of Gov. Ododo’s administration.
He gave the assurances on Saturday, when he received Party faithful at his residence in Gegu Beki, Kogi Koton Karfe.
Engr Bashir Gegu commended Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo commitment and impressive performances to good governance and reassurance of a peaceful election and level playing field for all contenders.

He stressed that APC in Kogi Local Government would work within the directives of Gov Ododo in achieving a violence-free election, noting that Ododo’s administration had made security and welfare of the people a topmost priority since assumption of office.
“Having done well in all sectors of the economy of the State, particularly in workers welfare and security, we are very optimistic that it will encourage our people to turn out en masse and exercise their civic duty.
“Our outstanding achievements, which are visible, will speak and work for us, with the greatest of assurances that we will win overwhelmingly. We will cooperate with each other in ensuring a peaceful election and also provide a level playing field for all contenders and for the people to turn out en masse to vote.
He commended the good people of Kogi Local Government for the trust reposed on him and encouraged eligible voters to come out and vote just as he reiterated His Excellency Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo commitment to delivering good governance to the people of the state.
