LG Polls: Comr. Nayo calls for a united front for Kabba/ Bunu, advocate support for a common cause of shared prosperity and sustainable development

Ahead the forthcoming Kogi state local government elections scheduled for the 19th of October 2024, the newly appointed Head of New Media of the Kabba/ Bunu LGA APC Campaign council, Comrade NAYO Jude Babatunde has called on political actors in the local government across party lines to synergies with the APC candidates for a united front and a common cause of shared prosperity and sustainable development.

In an address made available to news men in Lokoja the state capital yesterday, Comrade Nayo maintained that the old days of bitter political opposition are long gone, as evident in the massive and contentious defection of opposition party men and women into the APC and the depth of unbiased inclusivity and unprecedented political networking in the Kabba/ Bunu chapter of the party and Kogi state by extension.
In his words “Presently in my local government which is Kabba/ Bunu, I can make bold to tell you that there are no opposition parties anywhere, the few opposition leaders are standing alone as it is, why not then synchronize our strength and difference for a common interest that will benefit the people and our dear society”

The Kabba/Bunu APC new media spokesperson added that “this is a call to all political actors, progressives and people oriented opinion formers to come together in solidarity and support the All Progressives Congress candidates in the forthcoming elections, a united front is what we need to deliver the long awaited aspiration of the people of Kabba/ Bunu. The aspirations of shared prosperity, sustainable development, inclusive governance and real empowerments”

“The candidature of Barr. Zacchaeus Dare Michael and his Vice and other standard bearers of the APC is the most suitable, encapsulating all required qualities for this specific purpose of people’s service and excellent delivery in governance.

The APC standard bearers of Kabba/ Bunu LGA is more than a round peg in a round hole and calls for the support of every political actor across party lines and affiliations to maximize impact and delivery of good governance”

In his closing remarks, he boasts of the assured victory and landslide win at polls, owing to the unchallenged acceptance and support of the APC candidates by the populace.
