Lokoja Supporters Call on Rep. Abejide to Join APC for Third Term Bid
A group of supporters from Lokoja, known as Team Rt. Hon. Leke Abejide Lokoja, has urged Rep. Leke Abejide, representing Yagba Federal Constituency, to join the All Progressives Congress (APC) and contest for a third term.
The group’s chairman, High Chief Lukman Usman, stated that Rep. Abejide’s contributions and support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Usman Ahmed Ododo make him an ideal candidate for the APC. Usman emphasized that Abejide’s people are calling on him to officially join the party, which he has been part of as a founding member.
The Coordinator, Comr. Wale Ajongolo, appreciated everyone for attending and encouraged them to continue evangelizing the “Leke Abejide project,” which transcends Yagba Federal Constituency.

Other speakers, including Hon. Julius Abel-Ontop, Mrs. Olubukola Ojuekaiye, Comr. Adewale Abdulrasheed Abdulkadir, Hon. Esther Yusuf, and Hon. Mercy Abalaka, unanimously pleaded with the people of Yagba to support Rep. Abejide’s bid, citing his achievements in Youth and women support programs, Education empowerment and Infrastructural development
They emphasized that Rep. Abejide’s support for Governor Ododo and President Tinubu is a strong reason for him to join the APC.
The support group believes that Abejide’s contributions and dedication to his constituents make him an ideal candidate for a third term.
