MAISAMARI RECEIVES LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD

Chief Kwila Maisamari, a patron of the Dadiya Community Development Association (DACODA) and a prominent figure in the Dadiya socio-cultural landscape, has been honored with a Lifetime Achievement Award in recognition of his longstanding contributions to community development.
Maisamari, who holds the traditional title of Raban Dadiya, received the award alongside other distinguished sons and daughters of Dadiya land during the Prestigious Award of Excellence and Recognition of Illustrious Sons and Daughters of Dadiya Land ceremony. The event, marked by cultural displays, goodwill messages, and vibrant celebrations, took place on Saturday, November 15, 2025, at the Dr. Mariam Babangida Centre for Women Development in Abuja’s Central Business District.
In his remarks, Chief Maisamari expressed deep appreciation to DACODA for the honor, describing the recognition as a testament to his service to the Dadiya community and humanity at large.
“I feel excited over the recognition, and I am energized to do more for my community,” he said.
He emphasized that DACODA’s mission is centered on empowering Dadiya youth. As part of this effort, he highlighted the ongoing entrepreneurship program in Bamba, where young people are being trained in tailoring, ICT, and other skills designed to promote self-reliance and economic empowerment.
Chief Maisamari urged all sons and daughters of Dadiya land to remain united and committed to the community’s development. He called for innovation and collective effort toward building a prosperous Dadiya nation.
