Make a conscious effort on your Security, NYSC DG charges corps members

The Director General of the National Youth Service Corps Brig. Gen. YD Ahmed has charged Corps members to be particular on the issue related to their safety

The Director General gave this charges on Sunday night while addressing the 2024 batch A stream 1 Corps Members at the NYSC Permanent Orientation Camp, Yikpata. Kwara State . He said the scheme has put everything in place to ensure the safety of the Corps Members. He, however, enjoined them to make conscious effort on the security of their lives and property.

The NYSC helmsman who warned them against traveling at night, also advised them not to engage in anything that could expose them to danger.

Meanwhile , the State Coordinator of NYSC Kwara, Mr. Onifade Olaoluwa, in his welcome address appreciated the Director General for choosing the camp as start up point for his tour. He said his visit has boosted the morale of the corps members and all Camp participants.

In the entourage of the Director General are Director of Press and Public Relations Units, Mr. Eddy Megwa, the Director of Special Duty, Mrs. Bona Fasakin, amongst others.
