Mangal Cement Industry Spreads Christmas Cheer to Host Communities, Donates medical Supplies worth millions of naira to Iluhagba community
Iluhagba, Kogi State – Mangal Cement Industry, Iluhagba, has shown its commitment to giving back to the communities by donating drugs and medical supplies worth millions of naira, as well as food items, to its host and negbouring communities in Mopamuro and Ijumu Local Government Areas of Kogi State.
The donation, made as part of the company’s community social responsibility (CSR) initiative, aims to put smiles on the faces of the people, especially during the Christmas season.
According to a statement signed by the General Manager, Administration and Human Resources, Dr. Umar Musa PhD, the company is dedicated to maintaining a cordial relationship with the host communities and is committed to supporting their well-being.

He said the donated items, including 375 bags of rice, 200 x 20L drums of groundnut oil, and hampers, were distributed to the following communities: Mopa, Ekinrin-Adde, Aiyetoro-Gbede, Iyamoye, Iyara, Ijumu LGA, and Mopamuro LGA, while the medical supplies are intended to support Iluhagba community’s healthcare needs.
Dr. Umar expressed the company’s commitment to continuing its support for the community, stating that Mangal Cement Industry will keep working hard to maintain a positive relationship with Mopa and Iluhagba communities.

He noted that the total cost of items distributed worth over 30 millions naira to support the communities during the yuletide season.
The gesture has been welcomed by the community, who appreciate the company’s efforts to give back and contribute to their development.
