Meet Alhaji Dahiru Mangal, Nigeria Businessman and Philanthropist, Chairman/CEO, Mangal Group of Companies

Alhaji Dahiru Mangal is a renowned Nigerian businessman and philanthropist. Born on August 3, 1957, in Katsina State, he rose from humble beginnings to become a successful entrepreneur.

Mangal is the founder and chairman of Max Air, a leading Nigerian airline operating domestic, regional, and international flights. He also has interests in transportation, oil and gas, and construction through his company, Mangal Group of Companies.

As a prominent businessman, Mangal has held various leadership positions, including Non-Executive Director of MRS Oil Nigeria Plc until his resignation in 2017.

He is also a major shareholder in Oando Plc, although he has had conflicts with the company’s management in the past.

Mangal is known for his philanthropic efforts, particularly in supporting students, people with disabilities, and internally displaced persons. He has also been involved in various community development projects, including the distribution of food to those in need.

In recognition of his contributions to business and philanthropy, Mangal has received several awards and honors. He was awarded the national honor of Commander of the Order of the Niger (CON).

His cement company with factory at Iluhagba, Ijumu Local Government Area of Kogi State is gaining momentum on daily basis across Nigeria with his focus to extend to neighbouring countries in West Africa soon
