Honourable Minister of Defence, His Excellency Mohammed Badaru Abubakar, CON, mni, Extends Condolences to Jigawa State Governor Over Mother’s Passing
The Honourable Minister of Defence, His Excellency Mohammed Badaru Abubakar, CON, mni, has expressed profound sadness over the passing of Hajiya Maryam Namadi Umar, the beloved mother of the Executive Governor of Jigawa State, Mallam Umar A. Namadi.
In his condolence message, the Minister stated, “I was deeply shocked and saddened by the news of the passing of Hajiya Maryam Namadi Umar. Her demise is indeed a significant loss to the Governor, his family, and the entire people of Jigawa State.”
He extended his heartfelt sympathies to the Governor, his family, and the people of Jigawa State, describing Hajiya Maryam as a motherly figure whose wisdom and compassion will be greatly missed.
The Honourable Minister prayed for the repose of her soul, asking Almighty Allah to grant her eternal rest in Jannatul Firdaus and to bestow patience and strength upon her family to bear this irreparable loss.
