Mopa Traditional Council Appoints Youth Officials

Mopa Traditional Council, under the leadership of His Royal Majesty, Oba (Dr.) Muyiwa Ibeun, has appointed Youth Monitoring Officials to be in charge of Mopa Youth Council.

The appointed officials who are based in Mopa assembled at Elulu’s Residence in Mopa to receive their appointment letters.

Oba Muyiwa Ibeun, during his remark, said the Youth Monitoring Officials have been appointed to mainly represent other young persons of the community in relationship with the traditional council. He said they are now the eyes of the community in youth affairs, so they have to be of good character as they now serve has examples to others.

Oba Odole, Mopa, His Royal Highness, Barr. Bayo James, who presented the appointment letter and conducted the appointees to oath, advised the youth to be devoted to the service of the community.

Baale of Patia, Mopa, Chief Rotimi Omokore, in his remark, suggested that the Youth Monitoring Officials should be involved in their respective communities (Odole & Ileteju) traditional council meetings.

The appointees are Hon. Kunle Oye, Cordinator; Elder Babajide Omosaiye, Secretary; Comr. Ajulo Busayo Emmanuel, Public Relations Officer; and Comr. Sunday Adeola Samuel, Financial Secretary.

Representing Odole and Ileteju communities in the Youuth Monitoring Officials are Mr. Bayo Moses, Odole Supervisor; Comr. Omokoku Rotimi John, Odole Secretary; Mr. Tope Shola Moses, Odole Public Relations Officer; Hon. Sunday Aworo, Ileteju Supervisor; Hon. Abiodun Osho, Ileteju Secretary; Mr. Bolanle Adebosin, Ileteju Public Relations Officer.

Other officials are Omowumi Omolola Akindele, Treasurer; Adeyeye Bunmi Grace, Internal Auditor I; and Alaba Gbemiro Timilehin, Internal Auditor II.

Other speakers who are members of the traditional council who spoke during the appointment programe are Oba of Okeguru, His Royal Highness, Oba Williams Olushola Agbaje; Baale of Ikeji, Chief Shola Mofobi etc, they lauded Oba Ibeun on his approach to issues and the administration cum leadership and rulership of Mopa, they unanimously advised the appointees to work in the interest of Mopa, and they shouldn’t betray Mopa and her traditional council.

The appointed Odole Public Relations Officer, Mr. Tope Moses specially thanked Oba Ibeun for bringing development to Mopa. He prayed that God would make him live long for a prosperous Mopa.
