Mopamuro Stakeholders Strategise To Support Hon. Leke Abejide.

Leaders and stakeholders from Mopamuro local government are upbeat for Hon. Leke Abejide to return to the House of Representatives for third term.

Based on record, Hon. Leke Abejide has never won in Mopamuro but this time the stakeholders have resolved to support him to succeed against all odds to win.

In a strategic political meeting held with Hon. Leke Abejide by the stakeholders as they discussed strategies and fine-tuning ways to deliver the local government for Hon. Leke Abejide.

Some of the leaders in the meeting are Chief Yomi Charles, Chief Babatunde Samuel,  Mr Babatunde Moses (Bablo), Hon. Jones  Daniel and key stakeholders, some present and past political office holder across  the 10 wards in Mopamuro.

Emerging from the strategic meeting,  the coordinators and stakeholders from Mopamuro declared that Hon. Abejide would win Mopamuro with ease.

To make it possible, the stakeholders stated that they would leave no stone unturned in mobilising voters in the zone to guarantee a landslide victory for Hon. Abejide.

They promised  to give maximum support to him to achieve the 3rd term bid, saying that despite not supporting him he has always won from the other local governments and this time the narrative would change, they are ready to give him the needed support and results from Mopamuro. The group also stated that he should face Mopamuro especially with some of the projects he has commenced in other local governments.

Hon. LekeAbejide, in his remarks during the meeting, appreciated them for honouring the scheduled meeting, adding that although Mopamuro has always voted against him, but with Chief Yomi and Chief Babatunde Samuel  and the people he is seeing the tradition is about to change.

“With the people I am seeing today, I believe things will change for good in Mopamuro. The road from Efo to Takete is a nightmare and Mopa to Imela as well, although it was graded before, but we will rehabilitate it again.”

He stated that, he wants the new group to work together with his other foot soliders in Mopamuro, as he will treat them with utmost respect as a leaders without leaving anyone behind.

Chief Yomi Charles during the meeting corroborated Hon. Leke saying that he believes in the group and assured that they would benefit immensely by having a stake in the project for the progress of Yagba.

The group have coordinators from the 10 wards of Mopamuro local government, coordinator for Mopa axis Mr Ishola Sunday, Amuro axis Chief Asewo Olu and the overall coordinator Hon. Jones Daniel. Other stakeholders from Mopamuro in the meeting Hon. Dayo Mark, Mr Oderinde Ibeun and many others all pledged their unbridled support for Abejide.
