Movement for a Better Kogi State Calls for Urgent Replacement of Long-Serving Commissioners
The Movement for a Better Kogi State wishes to call the attention of His Excellency, Governor Usman Ododo, and the immediate past Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello, to the urgent need for a cabinet reshuffle in Kogi State.
For nearly a decade, some commissioners have remained in office without significant improvement in their respective ministries. This prolonged tenure, particularly in the Ministries of Finance, Information, and Education, has stifled innovation, accountability, and fresh ideas necessary for the state’s progress.
We therefore urge Governor Ododo to inject new energy into his administration by appointing competent, visionary, and younger minds who can drive sustainable development and reposition Kogi State for excellence.
Our call is not political but born out of a genuine desire to see our dear state move forward with transparency, creativity, and renewed leadership.
