MOY MOURNS THE PASSING OF OBARO OF IYAMOYE KINGDOM
In a statement released this morning, Hon. Musa Olumayowa Yakubu (MOY) stated that, “With a heavy heart yet a spirit filled with gratitude for a life that made a significant impact, I, Hon. Musa Olumayowa Yakubu (MOY), want to express my deepest condolences on the passing of our beloved monarch, His Royal Majesty, Oba Ibrahim Ade Momoh, Ariwajoye I, the Obaro of Iyamoye Kingdom”.
He continued, “The loss of Kabiyesi marks the end of a truly remarkable era in the history of Iyamoye. He was a beacon of peace, wisdom, and foresight. His humility and fatherly love for all his subjects earned him immense respect and affection throughout Okunland and beyond”.
“I will always cherish the memories of Kabiyesi’s guidance, support, and unwavering commitment to the progress of Iyamoye. He led with kindness, ruled with fairness, and truly embodied the spirit of cultural and traditional leadership”.
While his absence leaves a significant gap, his legacy of peace, unity, and progress will continue to inspire us as we strive to build on the strong foundation he laid.
