The wife of the Member representing Ikwo/Ezza South Federal Constituency, Mrs. Mary Chinedu Ogah has called on Ebonyi women to continue to support the administration of Governor Francis Nwifuru in the state
Mrs Ogah who spoke during the 2025 August Meeting held at St. Anthony’s Parish Ndufu Echara in Ikwo LGA; St. Andrew’s Parish Ndiagu Okoffia, and St. John’s Catholic Parish Amuzu, all in Ezza South LGA lauded the Governor and his wife, Mrs Maudlin Nwifuru for their deep commitment in advancing the fortunes of women in the state.
She emphasized that women play pivotal roles in sustaining society, describing them as reliable catalysts, agents of peace, and drivers of rapid development.
According to her: “my husband, Rt. Hon. (Comrade) Chinedu Ogah, would have loved to personally attend but was unavoidably absent due to official engagements. He, however, sent me to reassure the women of his continuous support, commitment, and fairness in justifying the trust and confidence reposed in him as their representative at the National Assembly.
“I known the importance of women in nation-building and I urge all Ebonyi women to genuinely support the programs and policies of the “People’s Charter of Needs” agenda of Governor Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru’s APC-led administration.
The Lawmaker’s wife noted that her husband would continue to prioritise the welfare of women even beyond his constituency.
