Muri Ajaka Commends Security Agencies’ Efforts in Kogi East, Offers ₦5 Million Reward for Information on Kidnappers
Alhaji Yakubu Murtala Ajaka has commended the Nigeria Police Force and other security agencies for their efforts following reported arrests in connection with the killing of the late Alhaji Yunusa Onu Ishaq, APC Chairman of Dekina Local Government Area.
In a statement posted on his official page, he urged investigators to establish the full facts, pursue those still at large and intensify operations against criminals who have brought fear to communities along the Ejule Road, the Dekina axis and other parts of Kogi East. He called on anyone with credible information that could help the police arrest those responsible for kidnappings and other violent crimes, or stop their activities, to contact the Kogi State Commissioner of Police. Such information could also be sent to him by private message or text message, he said, for forwarding to the police.
He also offered a ₦5 million reward to anyone who provides credible information that helps the police arrest other criminal elements involved in these crimes or dismantle their networks. According to him, the reward would be paid once the police verify the information and confirm that it has produced results.

“This is my little way of encouraging people with vital information to support the work of our security agencies,” he said.
Alhaji Muri Ajaka said he would communicate his commitment to the Commissioner of Police and other security chiefs in Kogi State, while urging residents to work with security agencies so people across the affected communities can live, work and travel without fear.
