Mutfwang recalls suspended commissioners, others

Governor Caleb Mutfwang of Plateau State has reinstated two commissioners, a special adviser, and a liaison officer who were suspended nearly two months ago.
The recall was announced by Gyang Bere, the Director of Press and Public Affairs (DOPPA), in a statement from Jos.
The officials suspended on August 21 included Chrysanthus Dawam, Commissioner for Budget and Economic Planning, Jamila Tukur, Commissioner for Tourism, Culture, and Hospitality, Dio Lamul, Special Adviser on Rural Development, and Moses Sule, Liaison Officer for Mikang constituency.
According to the statement, the recall follows a thorough review and an observed significant improvement in their conduct.
The reinstated officials have resumed their roles in their respective positions. This decision demonstrates the governor’s commitment to accountability and performance within his administration.
