Abuja – April 21, 2026
The National Coordinator, Okun Development Initiative (ODI) and APC chieftain, Hon. Deacon Suyi Otitoju has declared his “unwavering” support for the second-term bid of Kogi State Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo, describing it as “not negotiable.”
Dcn Otitoju made the statement in his Abuja office on Monday when he received a delegation from the Okun League of Progressive Elites, led by its Director-General, Hon. Alfred Bello.
Speaking during the visit, Hon. Bello described Otitoju as “a reliable and committed Okun son,” adding that his support for the return of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Ododo in 2027 “could not be taken for granted.”
Bello said the visit was part of ongoing consultations by the group to galvanize support for both leaders ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Responding, Dcn Otitoju reaffirmed his loyalty to the governor and the president, stressing that continuity in Kogi State and at the federal level was key to consolidating development and stability.
“My support for Ododo’s second term is not negotiable,” he said.
