Reacting to the announcement, Hon. Omoluabi Bode Adeyemi described the federal lawmaker as a passionate record breaker whose approach to representation goes beyond political promises to initiatives capable of delivering tangible benefits to the people.
According to him, investing in the productive capacity of young people remains one of the most effective ways to tackle unemployment, stimulate grassroots economic development, and build a generation of self-reliant citizens.
He noted that the proposed fund has the potential to strengthen small businesses, encourage collective enterprise, and create a supportive environment for aspiring entrepreneurs to transform their ideas into viable economic ventures.
Hon. Omoluabi Bode Adeyemi further observed that the cooperative society model could provide young entrepreneurs with opportunities to pool resources, access business support, and pursue sustainable ventures that may otherwise be difficult to establish individually.
He stressed that leadership should be measured not merely by the positions people occupy but by the lives they touch, the opportunities they create, and the lasting impact of their interventions on society.
The Governor’s aide commended Hon. Abejide for demonstrating that effective representation must be people-oriented, development-driven, and responsive to the aspirations of the electorate. He urged other political officeholders to embrace similar initiatives that prioritise youth development, economic inclusion, and community advancement.
He added that the N500 million Youth Development Fund represents an important investment in the future of Yagba Federal Constituency, expressing optimism that its effective implementation would open new doors for young people and strengthen the economic foundation of the area.
Hon. Omoluabi Bode Adeyemi concluded by describing Hon. Abejide as a lawmaker whose commitment to empowering his constituents continues to distinguish him, noting that sustainable development is achieved when public resources and political influence are channelled towards improving lives and creating opportunities for future generations.
