Nengak Jurji Gomos Elevated to Professorial Cadre

The Vice Chancellor of Plateau State University, Bokkos, Professor Shedrack Gaya Best, has announced the promotion of seven academic staff members to the rank of professors. The news was shared during the University’s Senate Meeting at the Senate Chamber.

The Vice Chancellor congratulated all the newly promoted professors and associate professors on their achievement. Among them is Professor Nengak Jurji Gomos, a renowned scholar in Sociology and Anthropology.

Professor Gomos is a highly respected teacher and scholar who has served as the Deputy Vice Chancellor Administration for two terms. He has published numerous articles and journals in both national and international publications.

With this elevation, the University is expected to witness more academic achievements, further solidifying its reputation as a center of excellence.

Professor Gomos’ promotion is a testament to his dedication and contributions to the academic community.
