New Leadership to take over: As NAAS Conclude Peaceful Convention in Jos.

The Atmosphere at the Success and Unity Secondary School,Kyan Rikkos in Jos North Local Government Area,of plateau was beehive of activities,serene and Calm as the Students From all over the Country gathered to elect President and other officials to manned the National Association of the Afizere Students.(NAAS)

The processes of the election began two months ago when the Electoral Committee was constituted to midwifed the processes of the Election.

Saturday was slated for the Election and the process was conducted seamlessly without any hitches,at the end of the election, Comrade James Nyam emerge the winner having defeated his core contestant,Comrade Nyam Yohanna. He polled the total 62 votes against 24 votes.

The election of the other positions when unopposed.

Various stakeholders and observers who were present commended the peaceful conduct of the election.

They include the Majority leader of Jos East Local Government Council,AYM President, National President of Mwagavul Students.

Praised the Students for their support and cooperation for the process to go on as planned without rancour.
