As Nigeria celebrates 64 years of independence, Kogi State has just marked 33 years since its creation. The convergence of these milestones presents an opportunity to reflect on the state’s progress and prospects.

Under the visionary leadership of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo, Kogi State is experiencing a transformative rebirth that is turning the crave for Good Governance to reality in just under eight months.

Governor Ododo’s administration has prioritized sustainable growth and development, focusing on key sectors to improve citizens’ lives. Infrastructure development, a critical enabler of economic growth, has received significant attention. Roads, bridges, and public buildings are being constructed and maintained to support business and enhance living standards.

In the healthcare sector, Governor Ododo’s efforts aim to enhance quality, affordability, and accessibility. Strategic investments in education are shaping the future by upgrading infrastructure and programmes.
