Quoting from 1 Sam. 1:18-19, he said God has not forgotten Nigeria but will arise to deliver her from all the prevailing security and economic challenges.

He said God so love Nigeria, which explains why in all her security, political and socio-economic challenges, the country is still standing and waxing strong.

According to him, some people are in to satanic life: kidnapping, banditry, retualism and cultism, thereby bringing curses and ill will upon the nation

“In spite of all these, who can battle with the Lord God of Nigeria? Because He is mindful of the good of the people of Nigeria, he will deliver us from all sorrows and pains, poverty and lack.

“By God’s mercy Nigeria shall be delivered and made stronger to the shame of her mockers and enemies, ” ” he said.

According to him, the spirit of Jesus is the spirit of giving. So we should endeavour to give to one another to help overcome the economic hardship in the country.

The cleric urged Nigerians to be good to one another to help take away the pains and sorrows in somes homes and bring about joy and smiles.

He called on the wealthy individuals and corporate organisations to consider giving to the indigents in the country.

“We believe things will turn around for the nation with the policies and programmes of the President Bola Tinubu’s administration.

“All it takes is our prayers and display of bortherly love in giving and prayers for one another and our economy shall turn around for the better,” he said.

Nathaniel, who congratulated the Journalists in celebration of their press week, prayed God to continue to watch over them in doing their work as the forth Estate of the Realm.

In his remarks, the State NUJ Council Chairman, Mallam Seidu Ademu, thanked the leadership of the Church for the privilege given to them to have their thanksgiving service
