During the funeral service attended from Christians from different denominations, Pastor Jegede Kehinde, an Assistant Priest in the parish who also who officiated, delivered a moving sermon titled “The Journey That Will End One Day.” Drawing his message from Job 14:1–3, the pastor reminded attendees of the brevity of life and the importance of living purposefully here on earth and the need for us to strive in order not to deviate from God’s will.

> “Man that is born of a woman is of few days ppland full of trouble,” he read, calling on the congregation to reflect on the certainty of life’s end and the need to walk in faith and righteousness. In his words, “Like Apostle Paul, Noah also has finished running his race. Today, we celebrate a journey completed with much hope God Almighty has received his soul in heaven.”

Mourners described Dr. Kekere as a calm, disciplined, and generous man whose quiet influence touched countless lives. His community remembered him not only for his professional achievements but also for his deep commitment to family, faith, and service.

He is survived by his aged mother, siblings, children, and wife, who were comforted by the overwhelming show of support at the burial.

As the final prayers were said and the earth closed over the casket, many expressed gratitude for a life well spent, even as they mourned a profound loss.

Dr. Noah Kekere’s memory, they said, will continue to inspire those who knew him. May his soul rest in perfect peace.
