A joint statement by the National President of Iyara Development Association IDA, Alhaji Aliyu Badaki and the Director General of Iyara Cultural Day , Mr. Samuel Olorundare explained that apart from the celebration of the rich indigenous culture of the Community, it will also feature the launching of a N250m Appeal Fund for Community Projects.

The statement further revealed that notable Nigerians, including traditional rulers, sons and daughters of the community from all spheres of life, are expected to attend the epoch making ceremony.

“The Iyara Cultural Day is the celebration of our Unique Culture such as Are Iyawo, (Traditional Marriage Ceremony of yore) masquerades and cultural troupes.
