NPF APPOINTS AUSTINE ALABA MEDAIYEDU AS PIONEER CHAIRMAN OF POLICE CAMPAIGN AGAINST CULTISM AND OTHER VICES IN KOGI STATE

The National Coordinator of Police Campaign Against Cultism And Other Vices (POCACOV) DSP Olabisi Oluseyi Okuwobi has conveyed the approval of the Appointment of Hon. Austine Alaba Medaiyedu by the Nigeria Police Force as the pioneer Chairman of POCACOV in Kogi State.

POCACOV is the Police Campaign Against Cultism And Other Vices. It is aimed at saving Youths from Cultism And Other related Vices. It is a campaign anchored on the principle of Community Policing.

The Effort by the organization is to reach out to the Youths, Transporters, Artisans, Faith-Based and Community Based Organizations, Traditional Rulers, Students, Market Organizations, Sister Security Agencies, the Media, Development Partners and indeed, all well-meaning Nigerians to join forces with the Police and support the campaign in order to save Nigerian Youths from the claws of Cultism And Other Vices for a safe and Secured Nation.

Hon. Alaba Medaiyedu is a pioneer graduate of political science from the University of Abuja, Nigeria.

Medaiyedu has a background in Printing and Marketing Media. He has served as a Special Assistant (Special Duties) and Special Adviser (Intergovernmental Affairs) under the Administration of His Excellencies, Alhaji Ibrahim Idris and Captain Idris Wada of Kogi State respectively.

It is expected that he will bring to bear, his wealthy Socio-political and intellectual experience for the success of POCACOV in Kogi State.

He is happily married and the marriage is blessed with children.
